They say most people quit their New Years Resolution on January 12th. That isn’t even two weeks! But we can change that statistic so easily.
If you’re planning on having a New Year’s resolution, here are 4 easy questions to ask yourself that might help you stick with it! I know they have helped me in the past.
- Why do you want to make this change? (Make sure it’s not just to make a resolution)
- What is your plan? How are you going to stick with the resolution?
- Do you have someone who will help hold you accountable?
- How will you celebrate victories? (I think doing something monthly is a good way to celebrate finishing each month strong)
Also…This year, I have also chosen to call mine a New Years Challenge. My competitive nature responds better to the word challenge and I feel I owe it to myself to beat the challenge!
