I don’t know about you, but I love finding recipes online because it is easy and convenient, but I hate scrolling for 5 minutes through their blog post about why they love this recipe and yada yada.
So I decided to start my own cooking blog, which features simple recipes and no long blog post before reaching the recipes. Enjoy!
Instant Pot Cheesy Chicken Broccoli & Rice
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 lbs Chicken Breast (cut into cubes)
- 1⅓ Cups Long Grain Rice
- 1⅓ Cups Chicken Broth
- ½ Cup Milk
- 2 Cups Broccoli
- 2 Cups Mild Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1½ Tablespoons Flour
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Small Onion
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Turn Instant Pot on to sauté and add butter.
When hot, add chicken, onion, and garlic.
Cook chicken mixture until onion starts to get translucent. Add rice, broth and seasonings. Stir all together.
Cook on manual high pressure for 5 minutes. (Will take 5-10 minutes to reach high pressure.) When the timer is up, perform a quick release.
- Whisk together the milk and flour.
Immediately add milk and flour mixture and mix until it is well combined.
Add broccoli and cheese and stir until well combined.
